Terms of Use

One Line: Notes That Sort · Effective 26 September 2026

One Line works without an account, and notes, to-dos, events and the web app are free. Cloud storage for attachments is free too, up to 5 GB for everyone, and payment for Pro happens only in the app, through Apple. What you write is yours; the Company stores and carries it only as far as needed to provide the Service.

1. Purpose and definitions

These terms set the conditions for using the iPhone app One Line: Notes That Sort and the web app at oneline.date (together, the “Service”), operated by XTI Co., Ltd. (the “Company”). A “user” is anyone who uses the Service; an “account” is the identity a user creates by signing in with Apple or Google.

2. What the Service does

  • Sorts what you write into notes, to-dos and events, with a calendar, reminders, widgets and backups.
  • If you sign in: sync between devices, and reading, writing and uploading attachments on the web (oneline.date).
  • Read-only share links for notes you choose.

Without signing in, what you write in the app stays on that device, and what you write on the web stays in that browser. Backups are then up to you — if you lose the device or clear the app’s or browser’s data, your writing goes with it.

3. Accounts

  • Accounts are optional. You sign in with Apple or Google; the Company never creates or stores a password for you.
  • Do not sign in with someone else’s account or share one account among several people. If you lose access to your sign-in provider’s account, we may not be able to recover what is stored on our servers.
  • You can delete your account and everything stored on our servers at any time — in the app under Settings → Account → Delete account, or on the web under Settings → Account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

4. Pricing and payment

  • Notes, to-dos and events, automatic sorting, the calendar, reminders, widgets, backup export and restore, sync between devices, and everything on the web (including uploading attachments) are free.
  • Each account has one storage limit for attachments. Past it, files already uploaded stay and only new uploads stop; your writing keeps syncing.
  • The price of the Pro subscription is shown on the purchase screen in the app. Payment is made through Apple’s App Store and charged to your Apple account. There is no payment on the web.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. After cancelling, Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Refunds follow Apple’s policies and process. The Company does not process payments itself.
  • When a subscription ends, nothing you wrote is locked. It stays on your devices, and sync and the web keep working.

5. Your content

  • You keep all rights to what you write and the files you upload.
  • The Company handles it only as needed to provide the Service (storing it, carrying it between your devices, showing it through share links you create). It is not used for advertising or training. Details are in the privacy policy.
  • Anyone with the address of a share link can read it without signing in. You decide what to share, and you can withdraw a link at any time.

6. What not to do

  • Publishing, through share links, content that breaks the law or infringes others’ rights (copyright, likeness, privacy and so on).
  • Trying to reach other people’s accounts or data without permission, or to get around the Service’s security.
  • Automated access that puts abnormal load on the Service; reverse-engineering, redistributing or reselling the app.

If this happens, the Company may close the share link concerned or restrict use of the Service. Where possible we will tell you first and let you export your writing.

7. Changes to and interruption of the Service

The Company may add or change features. Paid features are not removed during a period you have already paid for. The Service may pause briefly for maintenance, outages or circumstances beyond our control. If the Service has to end, we will announce it in the app and on this site 30 days in advance and let you export your writing in that time.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided as is. Automatic sorting and reminders are conveniences, and their accuracy and uninterrupted operation are not guaranteed — please keep important commitments in another way as well. To the extent the law allows, the Company is not liable for indirect or incidental loss not caused by its intent or gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Changes to these terms

We announce changes on this page 7 days before they take effect, and 30 days before for changes that are less favourable to you. Important changes are also announced in the app and on the web. If you do not agree with the new terms, you can stop using the Service and delete your account.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes go to the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
